Kodak Alaris announces relocation to Rochester Technology Park, Town of Gates, Monroe County
ROCHESTER, N.Y., (July 26, 2017) – Today, Kodak Alaris has finalized a plan to relocate its Rochester, NY operations from Eastman Business Park to Rochester Technology Park (RTP) in 2018. Its future location in RTP was just approved by Kodak Alaris’ Board of Directors and RTP is a strategic match as it will be an element that defines the company for years to come.
Kodak Alaris plans to finalize its relocation to RTP during the third quarter of 2018. The 250,000 square-foot space will serve as the company’s US headquarters and will house its CEO, three out of four business groups, research and development, operations, manufacturing, distribution, and other corporate functions.
“We are proud to call Rochester, NY the home for our US headquarters and look forward to having a strong presence here in the future,” said Marc Jourlait, CEO of Kodak Alaris. “Thank you to New York State, Monroe County, Rochester Gas & Electric and Greater Rochester Enterprise for their strong support that factored into our decision.”
Josh Yashar, Managing Member of Tech Park Owner LLC, said, “Rochester Technology Park is pleased to welcome Kodak Alaris to its list of growing tenants at the Park! The Park has always believed in job creation, job retention and attracting new businesses through affordable rents. The Rochester Technology Park campus represents the most attractive environment in which to locate a new or growing business.”
“Kodak Alaris’ decision to remain and invest in Rochester is a huge win for the community and the state,” said Joseph M. Rizzo, manager of Economic Development for NYSEG and RG&E. “RG&E is pleased to participate in a collaborative effort with our community partners, Kodak Alaris, and the Rochester Technology Park, to help make this project a reality. For more than a decade, our economic development programs have been helping communities attract and retain businesses, and grow employment to further strengthen the state’s economy. We congratulate Kodak Alaris and wish the firm continued success.”
“Kodak Alaris is a company with a bright future and Gates is truly grateful to be part of that future,” said Mark Assini, Gates Town Supervisor. “Best wishes and many thanks to the management team and employees at Kodak Alaris.”
